Chisago Lakes Quadrangular

The Vikings wrestled in the Chisago Lakes Quadrangular Thursday, January 29 at Chisago Lakes High School.  They lost to the Wildcats 44-30 and fell to Princeton 49-21. Three Vikings won both of their matches at the quadrangular: Joey Graupman (127/133), Aiden Schwartz (152), and Lucas Hunter (215).

North Branch Invitational

The Vikings hosted an invitational tournament on Friday, January 30 and finished fourth as a team. The Vikings had two individuals finish second – Drew Steinke (121) and Aiden Schwartz (152). Steinke was pinned in the championship match against Sam Satrack of Little Falls at 1:05.  And Schwartz lost by technical fall 21-3 to Tate Olson of Delano at 4:52. And two Viking brothers wrestled for fifth place at 172 pounds.  Ayden Loren came out on top, winning by technical fall over Jaxon Loren 17-0 at 3:54.
