Wildcats stretch state run to half a decade
The Chisago Lakes dance team is going to state again in both Jazz and High Kick competitions after earning matching third place finishes in the Section 2AA meet on Saturday, January 31 at Totino-Grace High School.
“This year's team has shown tremendous growth and resilience throughout the season! Qualifying for the state tournament for the fifth year in a row in both styles is a testament to the culture, strong work ethic, and dedication these athletes continue to uphold,” Wildcat dance coaches said. “Our team's consistent conference placement this season earned us three All Conference and two Honorable Mention Jazz athletes, as well as four All Conference and three Honorable Mention Kick athletes, the most Chisago Lakes has ever had the honor to award!”
The coaches continued, saying they’ll go into the state meet with the goal of improvin standings from previous years and continuing to impact the Chisago Lakes Wildcat Dance Team legacy with another meaningful mark in program history! “We couldn’t be more proud of how our athletes continue to represent our program and this community!”
The Jazz event will take place on Friday, February 13 and the High Kick will be on Saturday, February 14, with both of them at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
