Delbert Donald Mitchell, age 81, passed away February 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 17,1944, to parents Delbert Sr. and Dorothy in St. Paul, MN.

Delbert is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Barbara Mitchell; children Dione (Luke) Newham and stepson Derek (Tina) Sasik; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and special nieces Victoria (Isaac) and Elizabeth.

Delbert is preceded in death by his first wife Anne Cynthia (Cindy); son James; parents Delbert Sr. and Dorothy; brother Allan, and sister Barbara.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, with visitation starting at 2 PM at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN and service beginning at 3:30 PM. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
