February 21

A snowmobile went through ice into South Lindstrom Lake and the owner was traced to a person who was not cooperative with the water patrol. The suspect initially said his son had owned and was operating the snowmobile.  The State Department of Natural Resources was to be informed to remove the vehicle and follow-up.

February 19

County deputies recovered a car reported as stolen in making a traffic stop near Dew Drop Townshouses in Center City, about 5 :15 p.m. Driver apprehended for being revoked and offering false identification.

Three traffic stops in the county over the week resulted in finding meth on the person or in the vehicles.

Crash reported at Green Lake Trail and Highway 8 south of Chisago City, about 6:30 a.m. Icy roads are believed to be the cause. One driver was transported to Regions Medical Center and the other was checked out by EMS at the scene.

The Lakes Area officer called for one vape device at the high school for the week.

EMS called for an assault on a staff member at Chisago Lakes Middle School. A family member transported a suspect student home.

February 18

A community surveillance camera caught video of property damage that took place near County Road 14 and Highway 8. A 55-year old driver was located and ticketed for an incident involving hit and run.

February 17

A fire alarm was set off by sheetrock dust at the new apartment complex in Chisago City.  The alarm reset about 2 p.m.

A natural gas line was hit in the Kings Bluff, Chisago City neighborhood about 8:30 a.m. Xcel was dispatched but no property damage was involved.
