The deadline for filing to run for a township elected position was last week and there will be candidates to select from in a couple of locations.

Only incumbent Gene Fisk filed in Amador Township.

Sunrise Township has a supervisor seat expiring that is currently held by Carl Peter ‘Pete” Johnson and he is running again and being challenged by a former township supervisor, Jeske Noordergraaf.  This is seat “B”

Also, supervisor seat “A,”  held by Greg Strom is being sought again by Strom and he is challenged by Connie Grobove. 

Shafer Township has an incumbent Laurie Blank running for supervisor unopposed and clerk Faith Lichtscheidl filed to be re-elected and is not being challenged. 

In Chisago Lake Township longtime supervisor Sherry Stirling is running for re-election and is challenged by Daniel Colten Schmidt.

Fish Lake Township has one supervisor seat expiring and the incumbent Donna Ferguson has filed for re-election and is unopposed.

Franconia Township has just one supervisor seat expiring and the incumbent Sonny Sparby has filed and is un-opposed.
