July 26 there was a report of a female struck by a truck on 457th in Fish Lake Township.  The alleged driver left the scene and was located later. The 24 year old Stanchfield man was apprehended on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation. The victim went to Cambridge Medical Center for injuries.

A call of a vehicle fire on Akerson in Lindstrom about 4:20 p.m. Lindstrom Fire took care of it without incident. 

An athlete competing in the Triathlon events passed out in Chisago City about 1:06 p.m. Lakes Region EMS transported.

Lakes Area Police contained an injured owl and secured the bird, until the Raptor Center could send a team to collect the bird. The owl was located near the Primary School in Chisago City.

July 25

Outdoor fire pit burning  debris was overly large and a complaint was called in about 11 p.m.  LAPD officers got it put out and informed the property owner on Karmel Avenue that a permit would be needed when the dry conditions designation has been lifted.

A bulldozer window shot out and was reported as property damage. The work site is north of Chisago City.

July 22

Report of a woman “attacked” by cat. Wounds were assessed by medical personnel and the cat was not immediately located, but the owner did alert police when the cat came home.  Veterinary records are being provided.  The incident happened in the Norelius Court/Lane neighborhood about midnight.
