A couple of incidents related to recognition of license plate numbers by Flock readers posted in the county. There was a pursuit in Nessel Township after a license was detected tied to a theft report. The suspect fled into the Cambridge city area and Isanti County took over.  Also a driver was detected as revoked by a license plate reader on I-35. There was an arrest after the stop and illegal items were located, including a large amount of meth stashed in the windshield washer container in the engine compartment. The incident was reported about 3 a.m.

February 26

A camper caught on fire and it was feared it would spread to other vehicles nearby. Report came in about 7 p.m. for an address on Wild Mountain Road.  The scene was cleared in about two hours, no details available.

Blown breaker on a power pole on Old Towne Road, Chisago City. Xcel handled the breaker with backup from area firefighters. This happened in mid-day.

A house fire reported about 2:50. p.m. at an address on Regal Avenue, Sahfer. Homeowner was out of house, no injuries reported.

Xcel reporting theft of copper from fleet truck. No value in the report.\
