Marjorie Hoyt, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Onamia, MN with her children, Bill, Pat and Shelly by her side. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wahkon, MN. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Family is requesting everyone to wear a “shade of blue” or your favorite Minnesota team sportswear.

Marge was born on August 20, 1942, in Warren, Minnesota to Austin and Elaine Warner. She graduated from White Bear High School in 1960. She was united in marriage to Wilbur Hoyt on August 27, 1960, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The couple raised their family in Wyoming, Minnesota. Marge worked for the Forest Lake School District as a head cook. Marge and Wilbur moved to their cabin in Wahkon, Minnesota after retirement to be at the lake where they enjoyed fishing. Winters were spent in warm Yuma, Arizona surrounded by many friends and visitors. Marge loved to bake, pickle fish, play cards, bingo, bowl, travel, watch sports, especially the Minnesota Twins and occasional trips to the casino. Most of all, she was proud of her family and grandchildren. She had a special gift of always making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Marge Hoyt is survived by her children, Bill (Debbie) Hoyt, Pat (Cara) Hoyt, Shelly (Don) Droppo; brother, Levern Cluckey (Kathy); sister, Linda Johnson; sister-in-law, Carol Hoyt; and brother- in-law, Joe Rosse; grandchildren, Cory (Sarah), Cassie (Andy), Justene (Mike), Alex (Trevor), Dylan (Bailey), Camden (Megan), Brandon (Brooke), Danielle (Gio), Sean (Lexi), Kennedy (Andrew), Heather (Derek), Kelly (Bryan); and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wilbur; parents, Austin Warner, Elaine and LeRoyed Cluckey; sisters, Marlys, Marlene, Dorothy; brothers, Marvin, Leroy, Lloyd, Lauren, Jack, Joe, Terry, Ron, Richard, and Jimmy.
