Stephan K. “Pete” Peterson, age 83, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away at home on March 18 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pete is survived by his loving wife Lynn Castelo; his brother Lowell (Mary) of La Crosse, Wisconsin; his sister Pam (Dennis) Keto of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews; and his lifelong best friend John Grandstrand. He was preceded in death by his parents  Marvin and Florence Peterson.

Pete grew up in Center City, Minnesota and graduated from Lindstrom/Center City High School in 1960. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for six years.

Pete had many interests throughout his life and was especially known for his love of golf.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Colorado.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to Evans Scholarship Foundation.
