Sharon Gallagher, of Lindström, MN, passed away on May 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in St. Paul in December of 1947 to Virgil and Marie Anderson and was the oldest of nine children. She was also a devoted aunt and great-aunt who loved her family deeply. 

Her greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her spouse, Robert (Bob); her children, Shawn and Chantelle (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Kansas (Blake), Jason (Landon), Gavin (Phoebe), Darian, and Addy. She also leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren, Owen and Aayla, with another great-grandchild on the way, expected in October. 

Sharon had a heart big enough for everyone. She volunteered often and was always an asset to her community. She loved deeply, gave freely, and made those around her feel seen and cared for. She was truly beautiful—inside and out—and her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her. 

One of Sharon’s greatest joys in life was spending time with horses, which brought her a sense of peace and happiness that reflected her gentle spirit. She was also a gifted artist, and her talent shone through in the beautiful paintings she created. She especially cherished time spent with Emma and Bob on the pontoon, creating simple, joyful moments that meant so much to her. 

She devoted many years of her life to helping others through her work at Hazelden, and later worked as General Property Manager at the North Branch and Tanger Outlets until her retirement. No matter where she was, Sharon brought light, compassion, and joy. 

Sharon will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, her gentle soul, and the way she made everyone feel like family. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.  At the request of Sharon, no services will be held.
