Zander Bleymeyer threw a three-hitter and Lucas Weinzetl and Quinn LeVasseur homered to lead the Wildcat baseball team to a 10-0 shutout of the North Branch Vikings Tuesday, May 5 at Chisago Lakes High School in a game shortened to five innings because of the ten-run rule. The Wildcats took charge in the bottom of the first. After a run-scoring single by Weinzetl, LeVasseur lined a three-run home to center to give the Wildcats a 4-0 lead. The Wildcats rallied for two runs in the top of the fifth. Carter Anderson tripled to center with two outs to drive in the Wildcats’ first run and later scored on a wild pitch.
