Larry R. Warndahl, age 80, passed peacefully on May 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Larry was born September 27, 1945 to Gustaf and Leona Warndahl in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He worked with his brother Rick until being drafted into the Army. Once he left the Army he drove truck over the road for different companies. Larry was an extremely hard worker and also helped Rick in installing cabinets and doing trim work. After this, he delivered tanks for Rick’s precast business.

Larry always liked being busy. In the summers this meant mowing grass, cutting and splitting wood. In the winters he did miscellaneous wood working projects. He also enjoyed fixing up and restoring tractors-especially John Deere ones! One winter he and his son Rob built a Chevy pickup truck from just the shell.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Gustaf and Leona Warndahl; and brother John.

He is survived by his loving wife Noreen; son Rob (Nicole); sister Kathy Carlson; twin brother Rick; and five grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, May 29, 2026 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church of Center City, Minnesota. 

Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial to follow at Chisago Lake Cemetery in Center City, Minnesota.
