Pfeifer was erased on the basepaths for the first out of the inning. With two outs, Ellcey Johnson and Sophia Peterson hit run-scoring singles to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead. Adysen Corey walked to lead off the bottom of the fourth for the Wildcats, and pinch runner Kayla Larsen stole second.
