Sandra Mitthun

Sandra Irene Mitthun, 82, passed peacefully in her home on October 29, 2026. She will be remembered for her loving, hardworking nature. Sandy was born to Melvin and Dorothy (Cone) Hanson on May 24, 1944, in Saint Paul, MN. She then met her life partner, Stanley and enjoyed many amazing years together. Sandy dedicated her time to many projects, always needing to be busy and finding joy in lending a helping hand.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dorothy (Cone) Hanson, husband Stanley Mitthun, son Dean Mitthun, and daughter Shirley Utech.

Sandra is survived by her siblings Burt, Danny, Marlean, and Terry; three grandchildren Minda (Bobby), Onnie, and Lenny; 10 great grandchildren John, Matthew, Luke, Mark, Ayden, Onnie, Calvin, Raven, Noah, and Nate; as well as many other friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN on Saturday November 14 at noon with a visitation taking place the hour prior.
