Martin Nyberg, age 68, of Franconia Township, MN  passed away peacefully at his home on September 29, 2026 surrounded by his loving family and friends after an extended courageous battle with esophageal cancer.  

He was preceded in death by his father Dewey Nyberg. He is survived by his mother Glenda Nyberg and his loving life partner Dana Weierke. Siblings include Leslie (Joe Tamble), Christopher (Michelle), William (Jennifer) and Corrigan (Stefani). Children include Raine, Molly, Jessica (Chuck Tart IV), Carissa (Mike), Megan (Ryan), Adrienne (Jessie), Isaac, JaQui, Josh, and Jolene; grandchildren include Raylee, Reese, Arianna, Clyde, Adalynn, Jaxon, Caitlyn, Allison, James, Andrew, Landon, Lily, and Levi.    

Marty was a very kind and generous person who always had time to listen and talk. 

He also treasured his time at the family cabin on Roosevelt Lake near Outing Minnesota. The cabin was a very special place for Marty – a place to relax, tend the property, make roaring bonfires, spend time with family and friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of being together.  

During his career Marty held a number of different jobs and most recently was a master welder and expert fabricator. He loved to spend time outdoors hiking, hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and searching for treasures in the ground.
