Dylan Lee Anderson passed away Friday, September 4th 2026. He was and always will be a part of many lives. We will be reminded of him every day, in so many ways, especially when we hear his favorite songs, as Dylan had a great love for music.
Dylan, the son of David and Laura Anderson, spent the majority of his childhood surrounded by close family and friends, on the lake where he grew up boating almost every night. Some of his fondest moments were spent with family, watching movies, playing games, building Legos, and being his silly, wonderful self.
Dylan was very smart, numbers were a game to him. He could remember everything, with a photographic memory. He also had a heart for writing poetry, songs, you name it, to put a smile on people’s faces. He loved woodworking and creating beautiful things with his hands. He loved to cook, often creating creative/unique dishes—some more delicious than others. But no matter what he made, we gladly ate every bite. One of his other greatest loves was a competition of pool, often resulting with the pool balls flying off the table.
Dylan had the kindest, sweetest heart. His loss leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him, and there are no words that can truly fill it. His laughter, silliness, creativity, love of music, and the many little things that made him who he was will remain with us always.
We love you so very much, our sweet Dilly. You will forever be a part of us, and you will never be forgotten!
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leland Anderson; grandmothers, Shireen Anderson and Rose Warner; uncles, Craig Anderson and Tom Colberg; and niece, Rylie Hanson.
Dylan is survived by his parents, David and Laura Anderson; sisters, Sarah Anderson (Cory) and Samantha Lind; brother-in-law, Will Lind; grandfather, John Warner; niece, Hayley Hanson; nephew, Ashton Hanson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be planned in the near future to honor Dylan.
