Numerous calls for law enforcement assistance for incidents associated with Hay Days were received by dispatch September 12.  A few involved minor-aged offenders:  two thefts originating in the VIP area of the event came in about 11 p.m. Juvenile suspects fled, with one arrest completed.  About 10:15 p.m. a male was arrested in connection with a disorderly conduct charge for a disturbance on the grounds. Two vehicle crashes were investigated at 6:40 and 6 p.m. One incident, involving a single motorcycle crashing, sent the driver to the hospital and the second between a pickup and a bike resulted in an arrest for DUI.  There was a disturbance at a nearby campground reported at 5 a.m. and three arrests were made. 

September 9

A traffic stop became a pursuit when a motorcyclist fled deputies about 9:20 p.m.  The stop was initated at 490th and Highway 61 and the motorcycle crashed at 470th and Government Road soon after.  Driver was cleared for an arrest after given a medical check.

Ticket for possessing a vape device at the Chisago Lakes High School.

September 11

Chisago City firefighters were needed to extricate a female subject inside a car that had flipped in a rollover. Reported about 2:30 p.m. at Karmel Avenue and Stacy Trail.

Underage riders on e-bikes in the Independence and Scenic Drives area. Ongoing issue with non-compliant use of e-bikes.

An alarm sounded at Lindstrom Senior Living, turned out to be false. Lindstrom firefighters re-set the alarm. Reported about 3:45 a.m.
