One deer was the cause of a multiple vehicle accident on Stark Road at Balsam Avenue in Fish Lake Township last week about 5:45 a.m.  Authorities were told a deer was hit by vehicle number one, and the damaged car driver stopped on the roadway to get out and look around, and a second car slammed on its brakes and was hit in the rear by a third vehicle. No serious injuries reported.

September 16 an altered $100 pulltab was located at Chisago Lakes Grill and had been fraudulently claimed. The suspect was identified and has been trespassed from the establishment.

One driver was issued a ticket in a crash at Oasis and 347th about 8 a.m. September 16. No serious injuries reported. An eastbound car crossing Oasis at 347th was T-boned by a vehicle going north.

September 17 No update on a soccer player who was transported from the field at Chisago Lakes High School about 8 p.m.  He was conscious and breathing according to the ambulance call.

September 18 county and local police were exercising a warrant at a property on North Pine Lake Road in Harris about 6 a.m.  SWAT equipment was utilized and the St Paul Bomb Squad assisted. The door was breached and according to early details a suspect existed voluntarily.
