NB softball rewards players

Fans of the North Branch softball team didn’t get to see as many games as they’re used to this year because of bad weather, but the quality was still there. The Lady Vikings handed out their season ending awards and they were highlighted by Kaylee Lofboom and Mikayla Carlson.

Thirty-four teams brave cold conditions for carp tourney

Despite some rain clouds and chilly weather out on the lakes, the fourth annual Chisago Lakes Carp Fishing tourney was a success for anglers and area lakes. There were 579 carp harvested from the lakes, including some gigantic ones.
