Safety Camp gives kids and experience and education

Lakes Region EMS was a favorite segment of the day and enjoyed by youth who participated in Safety Camp, July 11 at Camp Ojiketa, Chisago City. This group got to go inside one of the rigs with a LREMS staffer. Safety Camp teaches skills and gives tips on: water safety, bike riding, traffic rules and lots of other scenarios that a kid needs to know how to handle when they are out and about in summertime. This is a free program made possible through dozens of area volunteers and donations.
