‘Cats make memorable run to state title game

The Wildcat girls’ softball team made it one step closer to a state championship this year. After finishing third in 2022, the Wildcats came in second this year, losing 11-0 to Mankato East in the championship game. The Wildcats beat Holy Angels 3-2 in the quarterfinals and shut out Delano 5-0 in the semifinals to advance to the championship game. The tournament was played last Thursday and Friday at the top-notch Caswell Park softball complex in Mankato.
