North Branch celebrates 2023 grads

North Branch held its 114th commencement Sunday afternoon. A new policy introduced into the mix was due to a statute enacted this year by the legislature to not prohibit Native Indian students from wearing native Indian regalia or objects of tribal significance. In this graduation ceremony North Branch opened this to all students who wanted to represent a personal culture. Artistic expressions are seen over students’ shoulders in photos. Senior speakers were Kelly Steele and Norah Judson. There were 185 in the Class of 2023.
