September 11 memory kept alive at local ceremony

It has been 22 years since the heart-stopping attacks at the World Trade Towers and Pentagon, and the crash of the airliner hijacked by terrorists. A moving commemoration featuring speakers, high school band music and more, is held every September 11 at Chisago City. Above, a large American flag drapes over Old Towne Road next to the Extortion 17 Memorial.
