Water Festival a great time for fun, learning

Around 650 Chisago County students attended the 2023 Chisago County Children’s Water Festival last week. Students got hands-on learning opportunities that highlighted the relationship and interdependence of water to all living things. There were 27 stations for classes to partake in including water run-off, Minnesota fishes, boat invaders, aquatic plant science and exploring macroinvertebrates. The event was held at Wild Mountain.
