Snow doesn't diminish Easter Egg hunt in Chisago City

Chisago City and friends celebrated an old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 23, before the big spring break snowstorm hit. The weather was nice at Paradise Park where hunting areas were taped-off for various age groups. Event volunteer Mark Anderson is pictured showing the waiting crowd what the “golden eggs” look like, should they find one to redeem for a special prize. Youth could create a fun hat or bonnet, which some did. A new twist this year was the supervised “adult” hunt section, which had plastic eggs with tokens inside that could be cashed in at the Uncommon Loon.
