Scandia Heritage Alliance help with national landscaping grant

There were members of the Scandia Heritage Alliance, elected officials and representatives of “America in Bloom” who grabbed shovels and finished the planting of two paper birches. The location is at the entry to a future site of a preserved water tower barn which has been disassembled and will be rebuilt, splash park, gathering spot and amphitheatre. The program, America in Bloom selected Scandia to be awarded a $25,000 landscaping grant. See story about this regionally important project.
