Local Girl Scouts becoming the change in the world

Girl Scouts from Chisago Lakes participated in the “Change the World” event and performed local projects that support the community. The group made 25 military bags, 72 applesauce snowmen and 72 oatmeal pie turkeys for Meals on Wheels, bagged 400 pounds of cat and dog food for the food shelf, made 24 birthday bags, made 48 meals in a bag, 80 pillow cases for the Senior Center, baked 20 dozen cookies for teacher appreciation, collected four totes of toys, and made 20 children’s activity bags for the Emergency Room at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.
