Quilting for a great cause!

These amazing quilters have been at it again. They meet Mondays at Chisago Lake Lutheran to make beautiful quilts. These quilts go to many great organizations including the Baby Blanket and the Sheriff’s Office. The pile of quilts seen in this photo will be delivered to an inner-city Native American primary school where kindergarteners and pre-school children will get them. The Press also had a generous donation arrive at our office, from former Lindstrom Bakery owner Bernie Coulombe. Bernie donated 20 plus hand knit afghans to go to the school.
