Cleaning up the community

On Saturday, May 16, a great group of Chisago Lakes Lions met at Brink’s Market in Chisago City to clean up Highway 8. The weather was great for the Lion’s twice year cleanup of the stretch of the highway. “We handle Highway 8 between Frankie’s in Chisago City and Nick & Drew’s in Lindstrom,” said Lion Gary Gerke. The Chisago Lakes Lions started their adopt a highway program in 1996, so this marks their 30th year.
