The Chisago Lakes volleyball team saw its postseason run come to an end Friday night in Mahtomedi, as the Wildcats fell to the top-seeded Zephyrs 25-12, 24-26, 25-12, 25-20 in the Section 4AAA championship match. The loss capped a successful season for the Wildcats.

The Chisago Lakes girls tennis team capped a remarkable fall by sending three players to the MSHSL Class AA State Tournament last week at the University of Minnesota’s Baseline Tennis Center. Freshman Claire Mickelson qualified in singles, while junior Anna Hageman and sophomore Claire Beaver represented the Wildcats in doubles play.

Going vintage Halloween this week

My dad is moving out of his house soon, the house that I grew up in, and it’s been bittersweet cleaning it out. It’s nice to see it as clean as it’s been in 25 years, but also, they stored a LOT of stuff from our childhood and rarely got rid of things, so it’s been a trip down memory lane. We found some old school Halloween decorations, and it just brought me back to all the old garish and fun themes from the 1990s.
