Former Chisago Lakes Wildcats, Reese Shanahan and Kevin Schneider, have helped the Luther Norse football team start the 2003 season 2-0. Shanahan, a sophomore, is fifth on the team in tackles with seven. Shanahan also has one fumble recovery on the year along with two tackles for a loss.

Kevin Schneider is in his first year with Luther. The 5’9, 160 pound freshman is one of 10 running backs on the roster.

Through two games, Luther’s offense ranks second in the Iowa Conference with 413.5 yards per game and 35 points per game. The Norse rank fourth in the conference on defense, allowing just under 275 yards per contest.
