Invitational goes to host, Wildcats North Branch runners do well
The Wildcats steamed through the Ki-Chi Saga Park course, placing five runners in the top 15, enough to easily win the Chisago Lakes Invite. The ‘Cats best individual finish came from who else, John Leaf, who came in third.
Meanwhile, Nick Ramberg paced the North Branch boys team with a second place finish. Ramberg was joined by fellow freshman J.J. Koerber, who crossed the finish line with a time of 18:38, good enough for eighth overall. Mitchell Pohlkamp also finished in the top 15, placing 11.

In girls action, the Vikings Aileen Shanley and Gabi Olson each finished in the top 10, while four North Branch runners finished in the top 15, putting the Vikings second.
Emmy Wold led all Chisago Lakes runners with a time of 17:43, good enough for sixth place overall. The Wildcats finished third as team with 195 points.
