Age Well Expo, Outerwear Fair
Tomorrow the good folks at Chisago Age Well Coalition will be holding another Expo at the Chisago Lakes High School. This year’s theme is “it’s never too late to learn something new” and will feature a ton of vendors with helpful information on health services, social activities, volunteer opportunities and much more. The expo is free and there is food and drink available for purchase. The doors open at 9am and the expo runs until 1pm. There are health screenings as well as some great, timely seminars to take in. The entrance is at the PAC Center doors.
The awesome volunteers over at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Lindstrom, will be holding their annual Outerwear Fair next week. These folks have taken the time to collect gently used winter clothing for all— which the public in need can come and pick out free of cost. They meet you at the door by the rear parking lot, and a volunteer will help you shop for your items. If you think they might run out of winter wear, trust me - they will not. All these women and men care about is helping our friends and neighbors stay warm this winter. There is no judgment, just generosity. If you or your family is maybe down on your luck this season, please please consider paying the outerwear fair a visit. The fair runs October 22-24.
In this edition you will find the 2026 Voter’s Guide. It is a chance for local and state level politicians to give their stances on issues that affect you and me. We hope you enjoy reading and pull some valuable information that will help you this November at the polls.
Thanks for all fo the homeless donations - keep them coming!
