Despite season high score, St. Michael sneaks by with win
Chisago Lakes 135.05
Last Tuesday, the Chisago Lakes gymnastics team posted their highest score of the season, scoring a 135.05. However, the Wildcats still fell to St. Michael-Albertville.
“St. Michael is really tough,” explained Ed Wakefield, Chisago Lakes head gymnastics coach. “They looked great last year but they’re even stronger this year. We did have our high score of the year so far, we had a very good meet, but we still have room for improvement. We had some falls on beam and floor that we need to do away with.”
Individually, Breanna Albert led the ‘Cats, scoring 34.475 in the all-around.
