Carl M. (Kelly) Carlson
Kelly was born in Almelund Feb. 25, 1918, to Alex and Esther Carlson.
He served in the five campaigns in World War II.
On July 6 he married Ella Dahlquist. He has lived in the Almelund/Kost area all his life. Kelly worked many years in the Twin Cities as a union carpenter and farmed his whole life.
Kelly is preceded in death by parents, Alex and Esther; sister, Mary Sorensen and brother, Allen.
He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Ella; son, Wayne and his wife, Tora; grandsons: Kelly and Matthew; brother, Burton and his wife, Rose, of Center City; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were held at Immanuel Lutheran, in Almelund, Tuesday, May 18. Interment at Almelund Cemetery. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home, in Lindstrom.
