Pretty soon, the Chisago Lakes girls dance team is going to need another trophy case. After grabbing first place hardware from the North St. Paul Invite and Fridley Invite earlier this season, the Wildcats won two more events last week.

First last Thursday. Taking part in the North Branch Invite, Chisago Lakes danced their way to a first place finish in the jazz/funk competition. The ‘Cats did not compete in the varsity high kick which Forest Lake won. North Branch finished second in both events.

In addition, the Chisago Lakes JV squad also win first.

Wildcats win at Bloomington Kennedy Invite

Last Saturday, Chisago Lakes did it again, this time winning the varsity jazz/funk competition at the Bloomington Kennedy Invite. The tournament was presented by the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders.

Not only was it their fourth first place finish of the season and their fourth straight as well. Adding to the success of the meet was the fact that the Chisago Lakes JV squad also performed well, placing third overall.
