No big surprises in the Tuesday balloting for Chisago Lakes School Board. All incumbents were returned. Wade Carlson got 256 votes, Mark Leigh had a total of 244 and Lynn Johnson got 252 votes.

A few write-ins were tallied. Kathy Kirvida got 98 and Tammy Elzy received 18 write-in votes. There were 28 other write-in names that got one, or up to four, votes as well.

Chisago Lakes was the only election Tuesday in this area. North Branch did not have any board members up for election.
