‘Fall-o-ween’ party in Chisago City makes for terrific people watching
It was a very chilly day, but thanks to Mark Anderson for providing the music it helped to keep the little ones moving they stayed warm.
Ribbons were awarded silently for the best homemade costume, scariest costume and most original.
Miranda Heilig, age 10, won the “Great Pumpkin” by guessing the correct weight of 68 pounds.
Ally Pierson, age 9, won the jar of candy corn by guessing the closest to 717.
A gorilla won the search for the silver pumpkin and was awarded with a goodie basket of halloween fun.
Sunshine the Clown decorated faces all day, while children, parents grandparents enjoyed the hayrides, hosted by Amador Clydesdales.
The City Parks Director Doris Zacho thanks the following businesses for giving treats during the kiddie parade to our trick or treaters and allowing them to parade through their establishments: The New Spot Café, Chisago Antiques, Chisago Drug, Glyer Antiques, and The Wagon Wheel Café.
The following gave of their time to help out and a special thank you to them: Mark Anderson for the music, you always do a great job for us.
