Leona Warndahl, age 83, of Center City, passed away January 29, 2007.

She is preceded in death by husband, Gustaf; and parents, Louis and Elsie Gerlach.

She is survived by children: Kathy (Daniel) Carlson, Richard, Larry (Noreen), and John; seven grandsons: Christopher, Kevin and Erik Carlson and Todd, Troy, Christopher and Robbie Warndahl; many great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Leona farmed alongside her husband and in addition owned and operated the Gingerbread House. She also managed the Sewing Factory in St. Croix Falls. She is a long time member of Chisago Lake Lutheran Church and served on the church council. She loved to garden, sew, bake, paint and spend time with family.

Funeral Service 10 a.m., Thursday February 1, at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church, Center City, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Burial Hillside Cemetery.

Grandstrand Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
