State Representative Jeremy Kalin, right in back row, has been traveling to Washington D.C. to participate in a national green jobs initiative cooperating with leaders in the Obama Administration. Kalin recently delivered T-shirts to the White House, that promote the Chisago Lakes Middle School "Project Independence"-- which is an effort to raise non-school district funds to install solar power panels on the Lindstrom middle school. The students also sent materials with Kalin that describe the school project. Kalin gave the box of T-shirts to one of the president's top advisors to give to the First Family. Pictured with Rep.
