On February 10 the NSC hosted a reception and awards presentation for students, families, and schools entered in the Conference Art Show.

Each of the NSC Schools were only allowed to enter six original students artwork. The six students of Chisago Lakes High School are: Cara Beimert, Photography; Morgan Ford, Watercolor; Hannah Lindeman, Photography; Jake Jerrard, Drawing; Mary Quint, Drawing; and Cecilia Strother, mixed media drawing. At the awards presentation Mary Quint was awarded first place overall in the drawing category for her colored pencil drawing, "The Abstract Life of Birds."

The 2010 NSC Art Show is being held at the Anoka Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids now through February 26 in the Great River Gallery.
