Frank R. Anderson of Andover, originally of Lindstrom, died Wednesday, Dec. 30 at the age of 91.

Frank was born October 14, 1918 at Lindstrom to Frank A. and Martha Anderson. He attended Lindstrom-Center City Schools. He served in the US Army during WWII. On December 6, 1947 he married Margaret Kline, in Minneapolis. He worked in construction until 1977. He then bought and ran the Tru-Value Hardware Store in Bemidji, MN until 1986. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Vikings.

Frank was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Richard, Bertil "Butch" and sister Margaret Wendt.

He is survived by wife Margaret, son Frank A. (Vicki) of Stillwater, daughter Birgit Anderson of Andover, two granddaughters.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lindstrom. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.grandstrandfh.com.
