North Branch School Board liaison to Community Education, Kirby Ekstrom, accepts a plaque presented to North Branch by the Minnesota Community Education Association's regional representative Wendy Webster. Community Ed Advisory Council members Carrie Schmidt and Charlie Klopp were also on hand for the presentation, along with Community Education Director Jeanne Leland. The state association chose North Branch for its Many Flags of North Branch celebration, which brings residents together in a celebration of diversity, "exemplifies what we look for in a community education council project," said Webster.
