A wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother who lived life to the fullest.

Her love for family, friends and laughter as well as she loved to sing, sew, cook, play cards, travel and go to all the families sporting activities. She loved her flower garden along with living on the lake and enjoying how peaceful it was. Ellie passed away suddenly on June 28, 2010 at the age of 82. She was born on June 27, 1928 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her father William, mother Bianca and brother William Hefferon. Ellie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Roman; sons Douglas (Joyce), Steven (Robyn), Michael (Teresa), & Thomas; daughter LeeAnn (Roger) Maynard, daughter-in-law Sandra Seide, 12 grandchildren Justin, James, Sean, Roger, Samantha, Ryan, Shannon, Katie, Lauren, Madeline, Sierra, and Brett. 2 great grandchildren Austin & Faith, many other relatives & friends. She lived in north Minneapolis, St. Anthony Village and current residence of Chisago City. Ellie is a graduate of the class of 1946 from St. Anthony Girls School. She belonged to St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., Lindstrom, MN.

Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Grandstrand Funeral Home, Lindstrom, MN & one hour prior to service at church.

Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis, MN.
