Julie Ann Vick (née Remackel), age 63, of Chisago City, Minnesota, went into the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 12, 2026.

Her greatest joy was her family. Among the countless memories her family will hold close to their hearts are annual Fourth of July celebrations at the lake, Christmas traditions, delicious cooking and coordinating travel adventures. When she wasn’t traveling the world with her beloved husband, she was at home on Green Lake caring for her parents and devotedly supporting her son, Danny. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters, Maya and Samantha. She would do anything for her family, and her absence leaves a place in our hearts that can never be filled. She was our rock.

She is survived by the love of her life and travel partner, Timothy Vick; her parents, John H. and Marlene Remackel; her sons, Daniel Perry (Jessica) and Justin Vick (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Maya, Samantha, Tyler, Baylie, and Cora; her sister, Terri Hubbard (Mike); brother-in-law, Thomas Vick (Susan; Zach and Cole) and sister-in-law, Susan Miller (Scott); and her nieces, Stephanie Zschokke (Ryan; Jacob and Sophia) and Tonja Sassen (Carl; JoLynn and Jorja). She will also be lovingly remembered by many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who were blessed to know her. 

Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created will last a lifetime.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, from 3–4 p.m., followed by a Roman Catholic Mass at 4 p.m. at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, located at 13060 Lake Blvd. Lindstrom, MN 55045.

A Celebration of Life will follow immediately after the Mass from 5:30–9 p.m. at Winehaven, located at 10020 Deer Garden Ln., Chisago City, MN 55013.

 In lieu of flowers and gifts, we encourage donations to the American Heart Association.
