Halloween is in a couple short days.  Beginning Friday, all kids are invited to Lindstrom for the annual Trick or Treat on Main Street.  Beginning at 4pm, Kids are invited to walk downtown as stores will be handing out goodies and snacks.  Make sure the kiddos wear their costumes for the event. Kids love this event that is sponsored by the Chisago Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.   Come enjoy the fun until 6pm.

Saturday, dress the kids up again and head to Moberg Park in Chisago City.  The park is filled with tons of displays as well a petting zoo, a Halloween dance, trick-or-treat stations, a scavenger hunt and games.  There will be wagon rides and even a food wagon.  

The party runs from 4-6pm so get there early.

Every day that passes brings me a bit of joy.  Not because I’m getting older, but that means the non stop demoralization  and exhausting political television commercials are one day closer to being done.  Never in my life have I witnessed such negativity (yes from both sides) towards one another.  To make matters worse, I am continually bombarded by Wisconsin politicians slinging their dirty laundry at one another.  Whatever happened to politicians that advertised their platforms and what they hope to accomplish? 

Honestly I think I would vote for any person that took that route. I know, I know, get off my lawn... I never said I wasn’t a crabby old man.
