The Northeast Regional History Day competition was held at the University of Minnesota-Duluth Saturday, March 6. North Branch Area Middle School (NBAMS) had two honorable mention award winners, Noah Hubbard and Sami Weiss for their exhibits. Three NBAMS students will advance to the state competition; Madeline Alden and Savanna Johnson, who created a documentary, and Erin Toohey with a live action performance. The state competition is at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Saturday, May 1.
