Experiential learning provides a concrete experience that allows an individual to transform that experience into knowledge. The Junior Achievement BizTown program utilizes experiential learning stations so students are prepared, through 19 lessons facilitated by their teacher, to participate in a carefully designed simulation that resembles the real-life workplace. In photos, Lakeside School students are actively engaged in posing questions, investigating, expressing curiosity, solving problems, assuming responsibility, and constructing meaning.
