Posing at the Chisago Lakes Area Library, Paige Bergquist, 8, is surrounded by her parents Tim and Amy, her Chisago Lakes third grade teacher Mrs. Fredstrom, Lindstrom Mayor Keith Carlson and Librarian Carla Lydon-- as Paige accepts a $1,000 college savings plan investment certificate. Paige won the prize as a participant in the library summer reading program. The library also got $500 in cash for its programs. The Minnesota College Savings Plan coordinated the sweepstakes drawing with libraries offering youth summer reading this summer, and a total of 15 $1,000 529 college savings plan certificates were presented in Minnesota. The Minnesota College Savings Plan (529) is administered through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and managed by TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing Inc.
