School foundation funds electronic access to history center
Jerry Vitalis, Duane Olson, and Wayne Redland, members of the Taylors Falls School Foundation, are shown presenting Joe Thimm, Principal of Taylors Falls Elementary School, with a check for $2,500. The money will be used to purchase an Interactive Polycom View Station. This system allows a classroom teacher to access programs from the Minnesota History Center in which students can experience living history through the video screen. There are a number of these programs covering different relevant topics. The foundation has given over $5,000 to Taylors Falls School since June of 2009.
